On a recent trip to Tasmania I visited Richmond Bridge, the oldest Bridge in Australia.
Built by convicts, the bridge is said to be haunted by three spirits, including that of a protective dog who will appear besides women walking alone at night and guide them safely across the old bridge. The story of Richmond Bridge and it’s spirits appears in my book, Encounters With The Spirit World.
I really enjoyed Encounters With The Spirit World.
It’s really interesting book. I especially found the authors own encounters to be really interesting and inspiring.
Love this old bridge at Richmond. The whole town is filled with historic buildings and the old town clock tower is beautiful.
Beautiful photo of the old bridge. Encounters is a truly interesting book on spirits.
I visited Richmond years ago and saw the bridge then. I got talking to a few locals at the pub and some of them swore they had seen spirits on the bridge, not just at night but early in the morning. They could have been having a laugh however they looked serious to me. Beautiful town and bridge.
